Brushstroke ruana - Blue (natural pigments)

The ruana is a piece similar to a poncho but open on the front. Is made with the purest sheep wool, woven in the thinnest threads with macramé finish. Hand threaded and woven on the loom. Colors are hand dyed with natural pigments (flowers, walnut shells, fruits, etc). In this particular piece, the artisans used their characteristic feature: the brushwork, a combination of different shadows of the same color. The plain bands add beauty and originality. The ruana is casual, versatile and elegant, ideal to complement any outfit.
